The Market Is Open!!

Good evening,

Hope everyone is having a great memorial weekend, thank you to those who continue to keep our country free.

Welcome to all the new customers who have signed on the market this week. Be sure to keep spreading the word about your local online market. We will have some flyers on Thursday if you wish to take some to distribute.

We have some great listings this week; beautiful sunflowers from Erdmann Farms, delicious fresh milk from Casey Family Farms and be sure to check out everything that Jenny from Seeds of Success has to offer.

Thank you for supporting local and dont forget that this is a producer only market, no re-sellers are allowed.

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

The Market Is Open!!

Good evening,

The market is now open!

This week;

Botanical Harmony Farm now have their Oatmeal Unscented soap listed on the market, appologies for it not being there last week. A great way to try their soaps is the 6 Imperfect cuts for just $10.

For those of you asking after Alfresco Pasta, they are on vacation this week but should have their products available in the next couple of weeks.

From Linda, Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
We have only one succulent planter and one windowsill herb garden left, so get yours soon! We do have lots of beautiful hanging baskets as well, nice for your patio this summer. Pick up an Aloe vera plant to help when you get sunburn – because you know you will!! Our tomato plants didn’t like the warm temperature in the plant room and are taller than planned, but still very healthy, and now reduced in price. Among perennial friends flowering this week are the astilbes, beard-tongue, carnations, coral bells, pincushion flowers, small sedums, yarrows, gauras, and lavenders. The many types of ferns and herbs are all looking really nice. I’m getting all these listed on the market as fast as I can, so check back in a couple days if you don’t see what you want. Gift certificates from Dogwood Valley Greenhouse are available in any denomination on the market.

I am sure you will all be very pleased to know that the first market week was a success! Also, we have spoken to more growers this week about being on the market.

Derrick Hill from the Shelbyville Times-Gazette kindly came to the market opening last week so, there will be an article about the market in the next couple weeks.
